My boutique-style law practice follows a concierge approach similar to concierge medicine that’s being used in the healthcare industry and is now emerging in the legal profession.
I offer a different approach to legal services by focusing on practice areas that commonly emerge in the context of helping certain types of clients—those who are pursuing a nimble, innovative 21st-century enterprise or those who have personal or organization vision outside of the arena of entrepreneurship or traditional business and.
I like to use a thematic approach to organize and explain my practice areas and representative client types. Each of these themes encompasses several commonly-used categories to describe legal practice areas.
Theme One: Media Law, Communication, First Amendment & Intellectual Property
Theme Two: Environmental Stewardship and Sustainable Agriculture
Theme Three: Contracts and Business Law for Professionals, Creatives, Innovative Small Businesses, and Entrepreneurs (for profit and social)
Theme four: Strategic Communication Consulting
Here’s a simple list of the main topical areas that fall within each theme of my practice. Each theme may include other areas and there’s clearly overlap between and across the themes. This is just a rough guide as of late June 2016.
